Work Experience

  • Present - from October 2023: SEO specialist for a number of websites by Careland BV. www.wandelstok-winkel.nl & www.dryonline.de
  • July 2024: Photographer for the Male line of the French Jewellery brand Kim Majorel www.kimmajorel.com
  • April 2024: Wordpress website de-content-machine.nl for the owner of Careland BV.
  • Present - from July 2023: Designing of a website with HTML, CSS and JavaScript, as well product photography and writing/editing accompanying texts for a small French Honey company. (The website has been finished for quite a while. Client just needs to choose a domain name).
  • Present - from October 2022: writing art historical articles for www.thecollector.com
  • November 2021 - July 2023: Content writing for two Dutch websites, one for costumes, and one for haberdashery and fabrics. What I do exactly is writing small pieces of information or a little story to accompany a category or product, as well as specific product information. The latter includes information about the details of the products, from their appearance to the utilised materials.
  • February – March 2023: Writing a plan for the documentation and archiving of a private poster collection. The actual documentation was done by a museum.
  • June 2022: One time research assistance job. Within this one time project I aided a researcher from Israel in organisig an interview with someone from the Amsterdam municipality. The researcher concerned was part of a research group that worked for the municipality of Tel Aviv. The research itself was aimed at the improvement of the garbage collection in the city. Part of this research were a few case studies into the garbage collection of big cities in Europe, among which Amsterdam. My contribution was the translation and further structering of the research questions, and the organisation of the interview.
  • June 2022: Content writing for Data Support Nederland. One time project, writing informative content for their websites.
  • April 2022 - July 2022 & September 2020 - September 2021: Employee at Rumors Vintage & Design / We Are Vintage in Amsterdam. Tasks: Running the shop by myself, performing tasks like organising, styling, helping customers, restocking, and helping people at the check out. Next to this, I did some photography and modelling for the online shop, Instagram story sales, editing the website in Lightspeed, and restocking clothing on ASOS Marketplace
  • I have some other experiences that I do no longer consider relevant to declare here.

Internships

  • March 2020 - June 2020: Internship at DEN (Digitalisering Erfgoed Nederland) in The Hague. Tasks: research into the ways in which digitization of the collections of documents and objects of Dutch theatre institutions, and ultimately also the creation of an online archive, can contribute to inclusivity. And next to that, research into the ways that inclusivity can be increased in already existing online archives, like that of the Stichting Theater Instituut Nederland, housed at the Allard Pierson in Amsterdam.
  • December 2017 - February 2018: Internship at the Van Gogh Museum. Tasks: co-research for the upcoming Gustav Klimt-exhibition. Both research into the way several western artists were presented in the German magazine Kunst für Alle, and the representation of Edward Burne-Jones's works in Vienna, in Klimt's time.
  • February 2017 - July 2017: Internship at Galerie Mokum in Amsterdam. Tasks: receiving clients, informing clients about the artists and their art, organizing the exhibitions in the gallery, making price lists, helping at art fairs, making overviews of the gallery's expenditure, updating the website in Wordpress and social media, etc.
  • October 2015 - June 2016: Secretary at the 'stage commission' of Art History's study association Kanvas in Amsterdam.

  • Present - from August 2023: Online course called 'Scoren in Google (SEO)' (Google ranking with SEO) via leden.imu.nl.
